Experience Fresh
Account Executive - Experience Fresh (EXF)
The Account Executive runs the day-to-day of assigned client accounts. This role is the operational engine of the client relationship — gathering requirements, writing briefs, moving work through the agency, and keeping both the client and the internal team informed.
The AE is expected to know their accounts in detail: what is in scope, what is in progress, what is at risk, and what is coming next. Over time, the role grows toward broader relationship ownership and strategic contribution.
Core Functions
- MANAGE - Own day-to-day communication and execution on assigned accounts.
- BRIEF - Translate client requests into clear, complete direction for internal teams.
- COORDINATE - Keep work moving between the client, creative, digital, and production.
- TRACK - Monitor scope, budget, schedule, and deliverable status.
- ANTICIPATE - See what the client will need next and get ahead of it.
Core Responsibilities
Client Communication
- Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
- Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to client requests.
- Prepare agendas, take notes, and issue recaps with clear action items and owners.
- Escalate risks, conflicts, and scope questions to the Director of Client Services early.
Project Execution
- Write creative and project briefs; gather all assets, approvals, and background needed.
- Route work through internal review and secure client approvals.
- Partner with the Project Manager on timelines and status.
- Proof and quality-check deliverables before they reach the client.
- Coordinate deliverable handoff, launch, and post-launch confirmation.
Commercial Support
- Track hours and scope on assigned projects.
- Flag out-of-scope requests rather than absorbing them.
- Support Statement of Work and estimate preparation.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency's project and financial systems.
Reporting & Growth
- Compile campaign performance reporting in partnership with the Digital Team.
- Contribute observations and ideas to client planning conversations.
- Direct and support Account Coordinators on assigned accounts.
What Success Looks Like
- Clients get timely, accurate, professional responses
- Briefs are complete enough that creative and digital teams do not have to chase details.
- Nothing goes to a client with an error that should have been caught internally.
- Status is always current — nobody has to ask where something stands.
- Scope issues are flagged before they become write-offs.
- The AE steadily takes on more relationship responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of agency account or client-facing marketing experience.
- Experience writing briefs and managing projects through creative and digital teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many concurrent deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with project management tools and Google/Microsoft productivity suites.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
Core Values in Action
- Authenticity — Says what is actually happening on a project, including when it is behind.
- Generosity — Protects internal teammates' time by getting briefs right the first time.
- Focus — Manages a high volume of detail without dropping any of it.
- Beauty — Catches the errors and inconsistencies that would undermine good work.
- Hustle — Digs in and finds a way when a client deadline moves, without quietly committing the team to the impossible.
